Making paper boats, particularly for the Aset Webenut (Luminous) Festival.
Credit must be given to Chris for walking me through some of the trickier (to me anyway) steps. Dua Aset!
Once the boat is correctly made, place a tealight or similar candle inside of it and it should float on any quiet body of water.
1.Take a square piece of origami style paper. Rectangular shaped and printer-paper can also
work with this. But it should preferably be thinner quality to fold more easily.
2.Fold the paper in half, creasing fine.
3. Fold one flap down, making crease.
4.Unfold flap.
5. Fold bottom two corners upward.
6.Fold down one top corner on each side.
7.Fold down one top flap.
8. Turn paper over.
9. Fold down second two top corners.
10. Fold flap down.
11. Gently pull open from each side.
12.Fold each corner over pt 1.
13.Fold each corner over pt2.
14. Crease down each pointed corner.
15. Open folds, crease down lengthy sides. Voila!
